Dagupan City Bangusan Street Party

This year's Bangusan Street Party as part of the Bangus Festival 2009 here in Dagupan City held in much wider area in Judge De Venecia Extension was flocked by a very great number of Dagupeños, tourists and party goers on April 30, 2009. The street party has 10 stages featuring different live bands like Parokya ni Edgar, Bamboo, Pupil, Sponge Cola, Hale, Sino Si Kat?, Typecast, Sandwich, RJ Jacinto and Friends, MixMatch, Bossings Band and other local bands. There are also stages for ABS-CBN Primetime Bida Stars, GMA Kapuso night at the Bangusan Street Party with Cookie & Belly, Moymoy Palaboy and more! There was also a Splash in the Sky Fireworks Display presented by Pepsi.


The Bangusan Street Party will not be complete without the "Kalutan ed Dalan" or the grilling of Bangus. There were more than 600 bangus grills that were installed along the highway and more than 12000 bangus or milkfish were grilled for the said occasion. The weather also seemed to cooperate so a very great crowd went to the said highlight event of Bangus festival 2009.
